• The unit has a separate entrance from the street/sidewalk on the side of the house.
• There are 6 (six) stairs leading up to the ground-floor unit from the sidewalk. There is not hand-rails for those steps, but do plan to add some in the near future.
• An alternative method up the driveway (sloped) and through the garage is available, there is a lip at the doorway from the garage into the ground floor.
• Bed is not high, so easy in and out.
• Noise concerns: we’re close-ish to PDX and there’s a national guard unit there, so you may hear the occasional military jet. We’re a block from train tracks and a crossing, trains can be loud if the windows are open.
